Everything! The house was beautifully presented, had every amenity you could need, a well stocked kitchen with appliances and all crockery, cutlery and utensils. It really was a fun filled house! Loved the pool, the jacuzzi, the outdoor area, the games room, all of it!

We liked the area that the property was in. It was spacious and clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We would have been happy living there full time! There were shops nearby and a very busy cafe/convenience store. We arrived by PT as our son was joining us with his car later in the week. It was quite a long walk to the beach (30 to 45 mins depending on which beach) but we were fine with that as we like walking and it wasn’t too hot. There looked to be plenty of parking available near the beach although we travelled in April so it wasn’t too busy. The apartment was available earlier in the day than we expected which was great. If you are there on a Thursday night you’ll be asked to put the bins out.

    In mid-September it was relatively quiet and relaxed.

    In mid-September it was relatively quiet and relaxed. We had no problems finding our way around. Since we're seniors we didn't need planned activities, we just walked around Torquay and drove to both Angelsea and Portarlington for day trips and had lunch and explored.

    love Torquay.

    love Torquay. It's not only a surfer's paradise, it's also a fabulous getaway... Beach is peaceful and clean, plenty of cafes and restaurants - (especially loved Salty Dog Cafe, iL Matto Italian Restaurant and Squires Loft)... It's also dog friendly which is a major bonus...

    Torquay is a great beach for a holiday and I love driving here from Sydney. Great beaches and access to the Great Ocean Road which starts in Torquay. There are some great cafes and restaurants overlooking the beach at Torquay and a great walk next to the beach too.

    Torquay does not feel as busy as some other places along the...

    Torquay does not feel as busy as some other places along the Great Ocean Road, perhaps because the shops and beaches are a little more spread out. The walk along the front (part of the Surf Coast Walk) is beautiful for a stroll or a jog. The different beaches in the area offer something for everyone. The area seems to be super dog friendly- lots of doggos running around at the beach. There is a bunch of great cafes and it was a bit of fun rifling through the endless racks of discounted surf clothes at the outlet stores.

    The location is excellent with the beach and main shopping...

    The location is excellent with the beach and main shopping centre literally down the road. Next door is a service station that sells bits and pieces you may have forgotten to pack, which was handy! The pool and the jump pad were the most popular activities for our grandchildren.

    Perfect location right next to the beach, we had one of the surfside cabins so it was a 20 second walk away from the surf beach, good value for money, also close to the pub and some other nice cafes and restaurants. Most other shops in Torquay are within walking distance or a short drive from the caravan park. Cabins are small but clean and have pretty much everything you need. Couch was comfy. Overall a great option for family holidays, but also for groups of friends

    The property is very close to Jan Juc village (2-3 mins by car, 15 - 20 min walk) with its selection of restaurants and pub. About 10 minutes by car to the larger town of Torquay. There's also an excellent cafe for breakfast. The beach and scenic cliff tops are also very close. The location is extremely quiet and private.
