There's so much to do.
There's so much to do. Dress for all occasions and visit the lolly shop! I enjoyed going out and staying in. Bring extra cash for the carnival rides and games. Walk across to granite island and drive up to the bluff. Still have yet to do the cockle train. Great playground and restaurants and holiday parks. No transport needs a car. Winter main st shopping closes early. Lovely to browse through and a mall too. Granite Island is the SHOWPIECE. Horse drawn vintage carriage by Clydesdale's, tourists love it. Op shops fun for elderly folk and grandkids. A quiet in Winter destination. Lovely caravan parks . I liked the ambiance of the place.
I liked the ambiance of the place. We had all our meals in the hotel itself, the serves are huge and very tasty. We didn't do too much walking due to a medical condition. The people we did meet were very friendly and it is a dog friendly town. The scenery is lovely and i would recommend walking along the foreshore and over too granite island or you could go across on the horse-drawn tram.Guest review bySandraAustralia - 10.0

The Granite Island and causeway is a definate worthwhile walk . Plenty of shopping opportunities with The Mall and fun OP Shops for found treasures. Car needed to explore further the local areas but one can walk happily around Victor itself .Guest review byJEFFREYAustralia - 10.0
Victor Harbor is great place even in the middle of Winter.
Victor Harbor is great place even in the middle of Winter. There are numerous places for whale watching and a dedicated Whale Watch Center for help. Various cafes, hotels and restaurants are around to cater for a variety of meals, from take away fish and chips to the better sit down restaurants. Easy walking trails to get a little closer and breathe in the wonderful sea air. The Causeway between Victor and Granite Island had been updated since we were last there, and we were pleasantly surprised to see the dedicated track for the horse drawn tram was made of softer material than the concrete. Lots for children to do, too. All in all, a great spot to spend a few days.Guest review byMichaelAustralia

The shower has fantastic water pressure and they are lovely and hot. A good size new fridge with small microwave, plates, toasters, etc. The room is airy and spacious with good heating / cooling. Situated in the heart of Victor Harbor with so many shops, pubs and attractions within walking distance. Plenty of parking for all guests.
