Very modern town with plenty to do. Shops and nearby attractions are good. We went to a local Chinese restaurant at Kooringal and were delighted by the food and prices. Wagga RSL club is very modern and has all the usual club facilities. Went to Palm & Prawn Hotel for a kid's birthday party and again their facility was excellent. We strolled through the Botanic Gardens and were surprised by the Zoo there! Disappointed that the museum of the Riverina was closed (on Mondays). A very big city.
A very big city. Beautiful lake Albert and we walked our litttle Sophie, she loved it. Is has the cheapest diesel in the Australia. Unbelievable cheap it’s even cheaper than Costco by 8cents. We only had one day in Wagga Wagga on our way back home to Sydney. It's been a while since our last visit and we had forgotten how lovely it is. The town is relaxing with lots of shops, cafes and eateries. It is also a good spot for visiting the surrounding countryside. Definitely worth a visit.Guest review bySteve and LeonieAustralia
