There are lots of short car trips that are interesting...
There are lots of short car trips that are interesting around the area. We found a few good restaurants such as the nursery cafe near the Warwick Motel which is open for breakfast and lunch, the Chung King Chinese restaurant and The Cherry Tree cafe which is open for breakfast and lunch. Great shops. Had everything.
Great shops. Had everything. Only spent one afternoon but had a quick look around. Loved the shop where you could buy Ariat boots, bags and clothing, and the lady was lovely to chat too also. Physco Suzie was a great place to meet up and have a meal .. we also loved the pilton zoo .best zoo I have been to in ages . The warwick rsl had good food .. a bit pricey for a rsl .. but a kids play room and good service. Not a lot for kids to do .they need a play centre like bounce or similar. The town had plenty of places to go out for dinner. We went out to the local chinese restaurant, which had authentic chinese decore (they just needed some background music) with tasty food and plenty of it. We were there for the Hyundai N Festival and didn't have much time for sightseeing but the town was well equipped with shopping mall and plenty of cafes. Our arrival was delayed due to a highway closure, but Lee checked that we had arrived safely. The room was immaculately clean and has been updated. The bed was super comfortable.
