These dwellings created from disused opal mines are unique and very special. Desert Hideaway is comfortable and well equipped, and is a short walk from the basic shop and decent pub. White Cliffs is unlike any place I've ever been, you really have to see this place. Owner was very responsive when we had a small problem.

Excellent facilities, spotlessly clean, huge stock of drinking water and coffee. The beds were SO comfortable I could easily have spent half my visit curled up in bed!

Loved living like The Flintstones in Bedrock. The Underground Notel was unique and definitely a great experience. Staff were excellent. Food was very good - the most delicious scone with an orange glaze. Rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. Rooftop was great for sunset drinks.
