Zaur and his family are the sweetest people ever- they deserve a 10+ rating just for how comfortable and at ease they made us feel. They do not speak fluent English, but we managed to make ourselves understood using Google translate. The guest house is clean and cozy- while the main hall is warm, the rooms can get cold at night especially. The toilet is outside the main house, as others have mentioned. However, as we were aware of all this before booking, none of it mattered. The location is spectacular- most beautiful views and walks nearby! Khinaliq was snow covered when we visited, which was delightful. Overall highly recommend for anyone who wishes for a unique and authentic local homestay experience in one of the most beautiful locations in Azerbaijan.

Staying here was one of the highlights of my Azerbaijan trip. The name of this property should be Rehman’s ECOMAMA as people around village know less about this place, if you are looking around for this place just asking the name of this guest house.Pro tip-Better ask for Rehman’s guest house.Rehmaan is a very jolly host and there are numerous things to like about this place. First of all Rehman’s cute little daughter is in itself an entertaining hostess. Then Rehmaan has a very nice and obedient dog name FULL STAR.If you are lucky then Full star will take you to a trek into the mountains……believe me , yes he will take you trekking and he knows the place better so always follow him. I really liked the numerous tea served with home made cherry jam in the cold mountains. Breakfast served here was delicious too and on top of that they have nice supply of hot water for shower. I really liked the vibes of this village and the scenery around was mesmerising.

Everything was superb. Snow activities, ski lift , ski school and the famous coaster are just around the hotel's complex. You get a beautiful and unobstructed view of the snow mountain while dining or just having your morning coffee. The room is spacious and clean too. The staff were all approachable, attentive, and friendly. There are lots of restaurant choices too. You get a free ride per day per person in Ski lift and cable car if you are a guest in the hotel. You get value for your money.

The facility was prepped, the house, pool and bathroom rack - everything pre- heated based on late check in Time. There was a warm old lady to cook and an old security guard for care taking. Near by markets to get basics and cook by ourselves.
