The cottage was absolutely wonderful, with a breathtaking view from the terrace overlooking the Pliva lakes. Boris and his family were amazing hosts - they provided us with lots of helpful information about things to see and to do in Jajce and the surrounding area. He recommended a great beach at the lake, restaurants and more. Boris also helped us plan our route from Mostar, as we were travelling by car - his advice made the trip much pleasant. The cottage itself was very comfortable - the terrace with the hot tub was simply incredible, message chairs too. And Boris, your homemade brandies are out of this world :)

The town of Jajce is very beautiful and cozy. It has a beautiful old town, a fortress, and the most important highlight is the beautiful Jajce waterfall. The town is further from the tourist routes, but it deserves more attention than Mostar. There is more to see here. I recommend visiting.

I would love for everyone visiting Europe to include Jajce in their itinerary. Jajce is truly an undiscovered treasure, full of history, natural beauty, and unique experiences. Despite being a small town, it has so much to offer. At the heart of Jajce is its breathtaking waterfall, located right in the centre of town—a rare sight that perfectly blends nature with the town’s historic charm. The history of Jajce is exceptional, spanning from the Roman and medieval periods to more recent events such as the Yugoslav era and the civil war in the 90's. Walking through the town feels like stepping through time, with monuments, ancient fortifications, and streets that tell stories from centuries past. For anyone who has heard of Yugoslavia but doesn’t know much about its towns, Jajce is the perfect place to learn and immerse yourself in history while enjoying stunning landscapes. Its combination of natural beauty, cultural richness, and historical significance makes it a must-visit destination for travellers seeking something authentic and unforgettable in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Jajce is a beautiful bosnian town with a nice historical old town, fort and waterfall. My recommendation would be not to pay to view the waterfall, you can see it perfectly from the platform above the waterfall so save your money and avoid the tourist trap.

First time visiting Jajce and it was really nice to do the walkthrough, eat and drink in the city center. The food was great and prices were affordable. It is a small city with a lot of things to see around the city. I would really recommend everyone to visit Pliva Lake.

The city itself and the surroundings are quite surprising. Especially since there are not too many tourists. Not all attractions have to be paid for. Suitable for a day or two. Above all, I was positively surprised by the large store open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The host was on the top level, really caring. His father is a wonderful person. I cant imagine better place in Jajce where we could have stayed. Everything was walking distance. Day before leaving, we decided that we wanted to stay another extra night. The host was welcoming and done their best for us. Place was very clean and beds were very comfortable- good night sleep is guaranteed. All essentials were provided for the kitchen and shower. There was free parking, what was great bonus for us. I would definatly stay there again.

The rooms were super clean and the staff was super nice too! We enjoyed the breakfast which was delicious and freshly made. We especially enjoyed that the hotel is quite small and cozy. You can reach the town of Jajce in a few minutes by foot so the position of the hotel is good too!
