The hosts Violeta and her husband are absolutely wonderful - it was cold and her husband had already started a wood fire to ensure I stayed warm, whereas she made me hot soup and brought in some sweets as a welcome. The apartment is not where it is listed but I have made a Google Maps entry now, so please search there and it should be easy to find. Location is not bad - about a kilometre outside the town of Vares, which is walkable. Only one point of improvement would be hot water in the boiler - it is sufficient for only one short shower, which is not ideal after a long day of walking.

This is a fantastic place with a beautiful view and a very modern kitchen, equipped with a dishwasher, oven, and coffee machine. The bathroom is great, and the whole house is modern and comfortable.
