FAQs about hotels in Brussels

Chocolate Capital of Europe

Brussels is well-known as the headquarters of many European institutions and is often called the capital of Europe. However, Belgian waffles, beer and chocolate are just a few of the city’s best-known delicacies that can rival its political reputation.

French and Dutch are city’s two official languages so all streets and landmarks have two different names: don’t be surprised when you look for Grand Place and end up on Grote Markt!

Don’t miss the famous bronze statue aptly named Manneken Pis or the futuristic Atomium, a truly unique architectural creation. Wandering through side streets to discover small bookshops, romantic cafés and ethnic restaurants reveals Brussel's charm.

Brussels is a real melting pot of Europe, filled with great museums and art from Memling, Bosch or Rubens, historic breweries and great concert halls. Shopping addicts can visit the world’s first shopping mall, the Saint Hubert Gallery, opened here in 1847.

If you’re arriving at Brussels Airport or South Charleroi Airport, all major attractions are just a short train or bus ride away. Whether you’re looking for a design hotel, a comfortable apartment or a friendly B&B, Booking.com has something perfect for your Brussels trip.

    Love the place!

Love the place! Excellent food everywhere, highly recommend Asturias restaurant, three minutes from gare Zud. And the weekend market at the abbatoir is superb. Great value. Also zee fish restaurant. I don’t personally bother with the central square, happy just strolling around Anderlecht. I never felt unsafe at all

Super interesting city, that is extremely well connected with the rest of Belgium. You have so much to do, no matter what age group you belong to, or what your finances permit you to do. There’s always some festival, pop-up, concert, museum or historical cite that has it’s doors open.

The city as such was like most other European cities.

The city as such was like most other European cities. Dirtier compared to Amsterdam or Munich. But safer than Paris. And it does have its share of amazing architectures to admire alongside some really nice food.

So much to see and do., most of it within walking distance . We've done a guided walking tour. Visited Parliament buildings, Musical Instruments museum, Magritte and Fine arts as well as walking, eating and trying the beers.

very nice city center with a beautiful square in front of the town hall and lots of restaurants and bars scattered around. Muscles and fries are the typical dish here and lots of restaurants offer it. Chocolates and pralines can be bought at each corner. There are also a lot of bakeries offering waffles. Everything in the city cent is on walking distance. If you need to go a little farther, you can take a taxi.

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. Staff were friendly, bed was comfy. Room was comfortable and very quiet. Modern bathroom with shower. Bus stop for city center (no. 66) was very close. Reasonable selection of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Fee airport shuttle was very convenient. Carrefour and Lidl are nearby in case of snacks. There are a couple of restaurants and a few takeaways around as well. Overall we really enjoyed our time in Brussels and our stay in this hotel.

Everything was as described. Nearby are the Gare du Nord, the city center, and the Atomium. We hardly used public transportation. We spent all our free time walking. The weather was pleasant, autumnal. I paid for an early check-in of 11:00 AM and a late check-out of 7:00 PM, and I was very pleased with this service. If I ever need to return to Brussels, I would stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was in a great location, a quick walk from Brussels Nord, and a reasonable stroll into the city center. The rooms were all very creatively designed with lots of quirky art and features. We loved the tv stand that rotated to allow you to watch tv in bed or from the living space. The breakfast buffet was varied and delicious.

We came for a weekend to Brussels and enjoyed our stay at Aqua Hotel. The staff was very friendly, the beds were super comfy and the location is great in a quiet side street but easy to reach the city center by bus or on foot. We had the breakfast one day and enjoyed the wide selection.

By far the best location in Brussels! The breakfast could be better but this hotel is a must if you want to go tour Grand Place.
