This is an excellent hotel with a very nice multi lingual host. For cyclists it’s a great base for exploring, arguably the world capital of cycling, Flanders. The Gent Wevelgem in Flanders Fields classic starts and finishes nearby, as well as passing close to the hotel. West Flanders, Oudenarde, and the classic de Ronde climbs are also within easy reach . There are many flat cycle paths near by and bikes to hire for those wanting a more leisurely cycling experience. The hotel is within easy reach to the off road WW1 Plugstreet experience and the Kemmelberg (near the lovely village of Heuvelland). France is only 500M away with Roubaix not far away, so no shortage of cobbled cycling opportunities.
