Just pure gold! The nicest people I ever had the fortune of meeting. They were always kind enough to hear me out when I had trouble with the public transport timings, travelling here and there etc. Super helpful and friendly! Super nice host, very attentive. The place is very cozy, yet modern, feels like a home. Has all the amenities one might need. There were kitchen supplies, all kinds of utensils and cleaning supplies. The entire house was extremely clean, which we valued the most. High comfort level.

You won't find another property like this - the hospitality is remarkable, and my stay felt more like an experience than mere accommodation. The apartment itself is very large, with two bedrooms and a comfortable living room and fully equipped kitchen - absolutely everything you could need (I was even able to do washing). Beautifully finished and spotlessly clean, with both heating and AC, and with really thoughtful touches everywhere. Breakfast in the morning - served delicious and warm - is brought to your door. The property sits on the edge of Karlovo, with a Kaufland in walkable distance, on an extended complex where the owners grow much of their own produce and raise animals. Behind, the mountains tower in the background and access to them is straight out of the door. But the biggest part of the stay was meeting the owners and spending time with them and their family - generous, hilarious and knowledgeable in equal measure. Whilst the apartment is self-contained and I could have remained entirely private if I'd wanted to, I was lucky to be able to spend time with them and find out more about their life in Bulgaria, and it became a highlight of my two-month, five country trip!
