We loved this hotel, beautiful room with huge bed (never saw bed of this size, it was just great for me, my husband and our daughter, we didn't meet each other the whole night, it was so big :) plus great view from the balcony and amazing premises of the restaurant

There wasn’t anything to fault with the Aram Yami hotel. The staff are absolutely incredible - attentive, informative and knowledgeable. The morning breakfast was superb - thank you to the kitchen staff who were always smiling! We chose the Bahia Suite which was perfect. Super large, comfortable bed with soft pillows, great A/C, separate shower and toilet and a wonderful view out to the pool. The pool area had stunning views across the bay. Complimentary drink and fruits on arrival. Wish we had more time here. Next time!

    Be selective where you are staying!

    Be selective where you are staying! Certain hotels are not very compassionate of your needs. If I had to do it again, I would definitely not stay at this hotel. Anyway, it is a done deal that will not be duplicated again! Thank God!

    Amazing architecture, well described and educational museums...

    Amazing architecture, well described and educational museums, very nice polite people, pretty decent food and drink. You need about 4 days overall, to get to know the city, and possibly go back to the places you liked best (if that's your thing when you travel - it is for me). However, the religious thing does get a bit tiring, as does the noise level. Best part of town by a long stretch was Santo Antonio depois do Carmo, which is beyond the Pelourinho. The Casa das histórias de Salvador was very good, albeit a bit short on live story telling.

    Salvador is full of culture and history but it doesnt feel safe and a lot of people were very unpleasant to my family and me when working (at restaurants for example). Saw one of the most beautiful sunsets at the lighthouse at barra.

    great city with a long coastline, beautiful beaches, nice restaurants, lot of music, many museums, many churches. landscape and cultural life are very diverse and fantastic. it is easy to move around with uber and safe.

    Great location near the beach and lighthouse. High tech facial recognition to gain entry. Our room was clean & comfortable and the balcony was large with a beach view. Great communication from the owner - our coffee machine broke during our stay and they replaced it immediately. The gym in the building had an above-average amount of equipment for a hotel and had a lovely view of Salvador. Recommend this place.
