A place where myths meet legends and folklore takes you centuries away whilst you are left wondering whether the dragons will appear or not, since it's the land of thunder dragons. Beautiful monasteries and humble monks give a real taste of the country's culture. You will need a taxi to manouevre as public transport isn't very regular. It is just really an experience walking in Paro city close to the Dzong, by the river.
