This is really a great property. It’s located in downtown Gibson’s Landing and very close to the waterfront with its shops and restaurants. The room itself was exceptionally clean and very modern. The bed was very comfortable. Check in was keyless and very convenient. Additionally, they honored my request for a ground floor room. All in all it was a great stay.

Great location, generally quiet, gracious hosts that respect your privacy and are responsive via phone or text when you need assistance, adorable toy poodles and light snacks on arrival. Private hot tub and fire pit were amazing treats - flip flops and extra towels were provided. Kitchen was handy for reheating leftovers and storing beers and ice cream from Little Spoon. Netflix available on the flatscreen TV. One of the town hubs, Gibsons Public Market, and several beaches are all walkable within 10-15 min. Pretty well everything from Bonniebrook and Secret Beach to Persephone Brewery and Soames Hill are driveable from the property within 5-7 min. 10-min drive from Langdale ferry drop-off. There's also a great pizza place about a 5 min walk down the road. Easy to access highway to see more Sunshine Coast towns. There are 2 units - we stayed in the separate standalone property. It's a small space, but exactly what the pictures show so it met our expectations perfectly, and frankly was just our vibe. Heaters were very effective. The ladder to the loft bed may be intimidating to some and the ceiling above the loft bed is quite low (no standing), so as long as you're good with that, it's very cozy and fun. Parallel parking spot provided just outside our suite. We were greeted by Casey and the dogs, provided a little walkthrough, and entry to the suite is via door code.

Mandy, Richard, and Charlie were the best hosts! Their Roberts Creek property has everything: one bunkie with a kitchenette and twin loft beds, another with a cozy queen bed, and a third with a fully equipped toilet. The shared outdoor area with a BBQ and fire pits was super cute! The outdoor shower, surrounded by trees and cascading like a hot waterfall, was an unforgettable highlight!

You can drive to IGA and Dollartree not far. We made our own food in our room but there is a few fast food places close, Tim Hortons and A&W. It’s worth driving up to Sechelt too. They had an excellent gelato in Gibson which had a bakery too, love it there.

Gibsons is a Beautiful, quaint little town, very good at hosting guests. With many lucky finds. A particularly lucky find was Grammas restaurant off the boardwalk. We missed the street entrance. As it was too small and sadly uninviting. The city could help this treasurer of a business by “resolving the issue of the adjacent space,” our server explained. Another lucky find was “reasons to live” book and record store. Follow the signs for a bit of a scavenger hunt for your lucky find in this well stocked store. Park for free and it’s an easy one street walk (more or less).

Gibsons is a quiet seaside community very close to Vancouver. In a scenic 45 minute ferry ride it's easy to get out of the city quickly. You can experience the laid back charm of Gibsons and the Sunshine Coast without having to go far. There's lots to do in the area for outdoor enthusiasts, foodies, art lovers, or those who just want to relax.

I am a local resident, Gibson's and the Sunshine Coast have limited restaurant and take out hours, so be prepared to eat early or bring your own food, especially breakfast, this is quite inconvenient for construction workers or outdoor enthusiasts wishing to make an early start Best breakfast is Strait Coffee in Wilson Creek( opens 7am) Tim Hortons is nearby the hotel local transit is quite good but very limited on weekends

Hotel was clean and quaint - clearly the rooms had been renovated, and the outdoor garden was very pretty. Staff was helpful, and I was pleasantly surprised to see guest laundry was available. The coffee and muffins available in the morning were a nice surprise, too. A good value overall!
