I had a wonderful stay at Manoir Sherbrooke. All the staff I met was so nice and thoughtful, they were always checking if anything was needed, I felt very welcomed. The breakfast was amazing too, everything was so homemade and delicious. Also, the location was top notch. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in my next visit to Montreal. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Montreal is the second largest city in Canada and the entry point to Quebec province via Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport. Montreal truly has it all. Divided into East and West by Boulevard Saint-Laurent, there are several districts to the city, each offering a distinct atmosphere.

Downtown is best explored on foot, as you weave your way through skyscrapers and visit museums such as the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. In the winter you can steer clear of icy paths by heading underground to the passages of the Underground City, full of shops, movie theaters and food courts.

    I had a fabulous stay in Montreal! Coming from Toronto, I immediately noticed the atmosphere difference. Montreal is so calm! I'm used to the chaos of Toronto and felt at peace here. The people are friendly, I love the trees along most streets, the fresh air, clean streets and parks, how walkable the city is and all the different activities it offers. I took this trip as a treat for myself to focus on wellness, and it didn't disappoint. I'm even thinking about relocating to Montreal and can confidently say it's my new favorite city.

    Montréal had some nice spots, we seen them in a day.

    Montréal had some nice spots, we seen them in a day. It was very dirty in some areas and there is a lot of homelessness. We were there for 3 nights and I probably would’ve been happy with one. However I am more of a scenery, nature person rather than a city history person

    What a neat city! I look forward to coming back. I missed so much in my short two day stay. Loved the cathedral and went back for the light and sound show that evening. Enjoying strolling different areas of the city. Had lunch at Schwartz's Deli -- fantastic! Great experience.

    Nice city. The people were so friendly and helpful. Cab drivers store workers ,waiters all went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Restaurants are expensive. The hop on hop off bus is a fabulous way to see the city.

    Nice city with lovely feel to it.

    Nice city with lovely feel to it. Unfortunately there are a lot of homeless people on the streets although we had no issues with anyone. All the people we met in Montreal (in fact at all Canadian locations we stayed at), were very friendly and helpful. Great to have conversations with friendly people in a great country.

    Montreal is an amazing city that's safe, extremely clean and filled with tons of great restaurants and things to do. I recommend bringing, or renting bikes because the city is loaded with bike paths and that's definitely the best way to get around. Traveling by car takes forever and is definitely not the best way to get around. The Lachine Bike Path takes you to some beautiful locations around the city. Turn on your Googlemaps bike maps and you'll see the city is just loaded with bike paths. The public transit is also a great way to get around. I suggest walking around Old Montreal, ride the Ferris wheel for great views, walk the boardwalk and enjoy an authentic French meal. The wine and microbrew scenes are spectacular. Hike around Mount Royal, and then check out the St. Joseph's oratory of mount royal - walk the steps, check out the sculpture garden and take in a beautiful sunset view. I also suggest buying a museum pass and checking out some of the amazing museums the city has to offer. The Planetarium, Botanical Gardens, Biodome and Insectarium are all on the same campus and are a must see when visiting. We were only in the city for 5 days, but we could have easily stayed 7 - 10 days and found plenty to do everyday.

    We actually had two stays in this lovely apart hotel near downtown Montreal. Both apartments were immaculately clean and very well equipped. Decor and comfort excellent and Christina, the manager, was extremely helpful in accommodating our check in times for each of our stays. Location was excellent: 15.minutes walk to the main rail station and downtown. We'd definitely come again.

    I liked the feeling of safety while there and the service. Promptness on room service request. Staff welcoming and very helpful. I liked my room with its provisions(iron, iron board , fridge, air-conditioner etc. Shower time with refreshing body washes. Towels provided clean!!!!!     Perfect location to see Old Montreal, Chinatown and the shopping district - anyone up for a walk can reach all these areas easily. This hotel was the cheapest option in Old Town Montreal. I wouldn't say it was the best or the cleanest but overall worth the price and I enjoyed my stay.
