By day, view the falls from the riverfront promenade, or for an up-close-and-personal experience, the Hornblower Niagara Cruise takes you right into the swell. Rain ponchos are provided. Alternatively, there’s the Journey Behind the Falls – a walk through the rock behind Niagara. Handy portholes help you experience the thundering water.

Slightly downstream are the American Falls, less well-known and less impressive, but worth a look. At night, both falls get illuminated by colored lights – an incredible sight. Further downstream is the Rainbow Bridge which you can walk across to get an American stamp in your passport. Just check your visa requirements first.

The city itself has 7 golf courses, with one right by the river – be careful with your swing! Other Niagara Falls attractions include casinos, movie theaters and Marineland Canada, featuring the world's largest whale habitat for viewing orcas both above and below ground.

    All was amazing.

    All was amazing. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the waterfall!!! We stayed in a family suite with kitchen, we had a toaster, microwave, stove, cups, plates, glasses, it was very comfortable. The breakfast was good for me - waffles, juices, yogurts, celreal... exactly what I need. I think to stay again at this place. It was a bit noisy at night, I think because of air-conditioning system, but it was not a big problem at all.

    There are many things of interest, so would like to return to explore some more. Niagra was very clean considering the amount of visitors & my hotel & all resort staff were very friendly & helpful.

    Gets a bit pricey for food, but we found places to eat in...

    Gets a bit pricey for food, but we found places to eat in the area to the north of the Falls that were reasonable. Get the WeGo bus pass and then you don't have to navigate parking and traffic. Try the Behind the Falls walk and the Power Staion and tunnel walk, those were great.

    Niagara Falls is a must see in this area.

    Niagara Falls is a must see in this area. Impressive but don’t think you will be among a few people. It is crowded and the adjoining shopping area reminds me of Vegas. Such a beautiful natural area ruined by the area close by.

    The Falls are still great.

    The Falls are still great. This was my 10 time to go to Niagara Falls. Better restaurants and lots to do for the kids. Be careful of the internet when it comes to booking your hotel. Many are using pictures from 10 to 15 years ago

    The trip to Niagara Falls was amazing.

    The trip to Niagara Falls was amazing. I would visit during the week cause the weekends are packed. It was easy to park and walk around. We eat at the Queen Victoria Restaurant which had a magnificent view and was delicious. Don’t forget your souvenirs. Make sure to drive the Niagara River Parkway both directions for scenery. Definitely visit Niagara On The Lake and the wineries!

    Nothing, first room offered - smell like Marijuana. I ask the staff why does it smell like marijuana they used same air freshener. So Marijuana user go to Americana free Marijuana. Waterpark, over chlorine I start to get itchy and rashes. The hotel is money grabber, parking cost is $100 for two nights of stay.. they charge you three time of tax. Niagara falls is money grabber town.

    There are numerous kid-friendly activities available. With all of the trees inside the hotel, the location is breathtaking. Niagara Falls is only a few minutes away. The breakfast was delicious. In addition, because it was our first time seeing Niagara Falls, we plan to return and stay at the same hotel.

    The cleanliness of the hotel really declined. The room we stayed in was very very dirty. Carpets not vacuumed properly, dust everywhere, washrooms not being cleaned properly. Was actually very disappointed in the cleanliness of the room as we always stay at your property when we go to Niagara Falls.
