This is a top-notch hotel. Everything new, clean, modern. We had room with 2 queen beds, very comfortable. Tv with cable, coffee maker, fridge. Heater/ac unit works perfectly. We tried the pool, amazing experience. They have a gym as well. Breakfest excellent as well..egg omelets, patties..everything tasty. Hotel is in an excellent location. Right behind hotel is walmart,dollarama, marks. Then there is a lot of pizzas, mcdonalds,subway ( i recommend caribbean resto 3 min far by car)

Friendly efficient check in process. Newly refurbished rooms extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. Excellent location , very short stroll to town centre and waterfront area. Spacious free parking. Fantastic value.

We loved our stay here, it was very charming. It’s not soulless like the chain hotels. The house is so lovely, Jeff, the owner, is so friendly and the rooms are very cozy. You feel definitely welcomed here. For breakfast you get e.g. custom made eggs, homemade jam and fresh fruits. The passing of trains nearby is an interesting experience. We can definitely recommend the Bayside Inn, it was the best stay on our roadtrip and we would love to come back.

Cute little place nestled on a quiet lake. Accommodation had everything we needed for a night. Weather held off, and we were able to have a campfire. Working on booking another night to extend our stay.

    We attempted to stay at 2 hotels in $150 range and both...

    We attempted to stay at 2 hotels in $150 range and both hotels fell short. Next tier was $300 and for a stop over, that was too expensive. Lesson learned… we won’t stay overnight in Parry Sound again. We WILL stop at Trestle Brewing - they’ve got it right! Great service, location, food, menu, beer, ambiance… this redeemed our poor vacation experience after we couldn’t stay at the place we booked because the room had a strong smell of mothballs (Sunrise Inn wouldn’t refund our money after only staying 10 min) and the only other place (Best Value In ) was outdated/run-down and had broken furniture in the room. We enjoyed our walk on the waterfront trail and coffee shop and picnic at the waterfront.

    Am from Parry Sound.

    Am from Parry Sound. Love it still All the new entrances intown are very confusing because of the way the new highway is and the whole area has really changed. But there is still no industry ty create work!

    I love Parry Sound for the closeness you feel to nature.

    I love Parry Sound for the closeness you feel to nature. If you’re lucky, you might spot a deer walking down the street. A great place to eat breakfast is Trappers. People are so friendly, need to find something, just sop and ask someone on the street. My favourite spot is the tower on the hill.(George Street). Museum is so interesting. Beach is well maintained. I go a few times a year.

    Its a very pretty area.

    Its a very pretty area. We were lucky enough to visit on dry days even though it was mid September. A little cool in the mornings/evenings so enough to wear a light jacket when required. The town has lots to see and do with different shops and restaurants etc. We would have taken in the Heritage Museum but it is closed Mondays/Tuesdays. However the gardens around the Museum are lovely even in the Fall. Our highlight was the boat trip around the islands. Our trip was a 3 hour afternoon cruise on the Island Queen. Quite a large craft but fairly quite at this time of year, The ship is a triple decker with 2 enclosed decks plus the top deck being open. We found it cool at times but could easily move below where it was warm and still have the same visibility. A lovely experience.

    Awesome boating/cottage area. Must see area in the fall. Killbear Provincial Park a must see!!! Fire Tower/gardens a delight. Orr's Fine Meats and Deli serves a GREAT breakfast. Trappers Choice a good choice for dinner. Di Salvo's Bella Cucina an excellent choice for dinner - fine dining!

    It's a small community, probably a vacation destination.

    It's a small community, probably a vacation destination. It seemed to have the basics. We did go to the water front and it was very pretty. I'm sure during the summer season it is gorgeous.

    The location was convenient, not far off Hwy 400, but in town. Amenities were close and a nice walk to the centre of Parry Sound. Rooms were very clean and up to date. It was very quiet and good value.
