Breakfast was good. Hotel was clean. Pool and slide was awesome! Would stay here again! Great value! Perfect for families visiting Halifax or Lunenburg.

We wanted a nice property out of Halifax with access to Annapolis Valley and good jumping off point for drive to Cape Breton. Windsor was a good location and August House was superb. Great rooms and staff. Opened last October after 1-1/2 yr restoration. Fine attention to details and conveniences.

Elegant and quality finish in rooms. Very quiet air condition (point of difference as all previous 5 accommodations had loud a/c you had to turn off at night). Delicious hot breakfast ( egg Benedict ).

For us dropping off our sons at Acadia, the location was perfect and provides a touch of the Wolfville charm, much better than any old chain hotel or motel. It was super easy to book and staff were helpful and friendly.

The home is farmhouse surrounded by gardens and farmland.. a beautiful setting to enjoy and relax. The home is great for sharing with family or friends, with comfortable beds, many spaces to gather or have alone time and views of the surrounding land. The owner John (and dog Sunny) is a gem. Hospitable and knowledgeable about the area, with many a great story to share. Location is great from the airport and to get around the area. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

When my dad passed Blomidon Inn went above and beyond what any of us would ever expect. The management and staff were so warm and accommodating at all times.
