A small and cozy family-run hotel that provides everything one could wish for in such a beautiful village. The staff at both the reception and restaurant were extremely friendly and welcoming. Our balcony offered a breathtaking view of the valley and surrounding peaks, truly the highlight of our stay. Even if there had been something to complain about (which there wasn’t), the view alone and that single sunrise would make this hotel a solid 10/10. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, making it an easy place to relax after exploring the area.

We had a memorable stay and will return for sure. It is quintessential rural Switzerland at its finest-- with the gentle sound of cowbells ringing through the valley. Note that if you have roller bag, you really need to use their transport service, and the road getting up is quite steep -- but it is totally worth it. Oliver and Sarah made our stay extra special. We enjoyed the beautiful views out our window, the snacks and juices in the room and the fantastic breakfast. We also were wowed by Oliver's cooking and thoroughly enjoyed dinner at the Hotel on both nights of our stay. With so many hiking trails right outside the door, we would have loved to stay for weeks!

First, the high quality and professionalism of the hotel staff were what separated this hotel from others. They were consistently courteous, efficient and willing to engage with the guests.     Kleine Scheidegg is just a marvelous place with fantastic views. The breakfast and dinner are delicious, and they give you a lot of food (I would actually skip lunch for a light snack, as I had trouble finishing dinner one night) Facilities are clean, and service is amazing. You get towels, shampoo and body wash at the showers, and comfortable beds.

    the location is amazing. if you're into hiking, the hiking spots are just in front of the hotel. I did some hiking around at night and saw breathtaking views of Grindelwald! also the staff is very helpful and friendly.
