A lovely town filled with shops and restaurants on the edge of a stunning lake. A great place to take a boat ride to nearby towns, go for walks or enjoy the lake with nice restaurants and shops. There are two gondolas nearby and it's a short train ride to the castles of Bellinzona or the activities near Monte Tamaro. The hotel was good.
The hotel was good. Lugano had a lot of Somalian and others who were very aggressive with begging. One Somalian was essentially trying to commit strong armed robbery. Just be aware of your surroundings.Guest review byJonUnited States - 10.0

One of the most beautiful places in the region. Tourists' friendly atmosphere. Fantastic Free Ticino Transportation Ticket. Ability to visit other towns i.e. Locarno, Bellinzona in convenient way. The views are breathtaking; the staff tripped over to help us in any way they could; next door was a Grotto, and the pool area is AMAZING - this is a fabulous place to stay in Paradiso/Lugano. There is onsite parking suitable for larger cars. Great value for a family with a completely luxurious feel. It was very easy to get there by the bus from Lugano. The beautiful Bré-village was also nearby and easy to reach by the bus.
