Driving up the mountain was quite an adventure for someone like me, accustomed to the pancake-flat roads of the Netherlands. The winding roads were challenging, especially with a few cars descending as I made my way up. At one point, I even had to turn around after missing a left turn just past a restaurant—but what a blessing in disguise that was, giving me an extra moment to take in the breathtaking scenery. It is located above the village of Morgins in a private and peaceful area. It is comfortably furnished and has a lovely balcony from which you can admire the view accompanied with a glass of your favourite tipple. Local shops are close at hand along with friendly bars and restaurants. The owners are kind and attentive. If you like star gazing, this is a heavenly place.
