Nice little village situated halfway the mountain. No cars allowed but the trains stop right in the middle of the village and the cable car to the lake is almost as close. Hiking trails are very nice and provide plenty of views. Not many restaurants but the one open provided nice food. There is one shop with all necessary items. It is a car-free area, so one enjoys clean air, clear views and bio berries and vegetables grown on the alpine slopes. For being on top of a mountain, there are a lot of things that are easily accessible. We did some very easy hiking along a wheelchair accessible trail as well as a couple of side trails. The spa is pretty special, as long as the pool going outdoors is open. There are a couple of good restaurants and a couple of mediocre ones. Everything costs what it does in Switzerland: a lot. Ask for a guest card before your travel day from the hotell so the cable car is half price. Its very expensive if you don't! The views were exceptional, but we wish the beds had been higher so we could see the views when lying down. This was the only fault we found. Our host was lovely.
