The room had a lovely view of lake Brienz and had all we needed. It was roomy, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom and shower spacious. Staff were very friendly and the service excellent. They even accommodated our request to leave our suitcases with them for a few hours after check out so we could finish our sightseeing without taking them on the train with us. Great place to stay!

The location was splendid. Just 10 meters from the station. Got down and walked into the hotel. Couldnt have asked for more. Hotel is On the lake and inside a qiuet Swiss village. Short idyllic walks around the lake and the village made the triip very memorable. One can walk into the woods and hit a couple of walking trails to Lungern and Sarnen. . The restaurant is very cosy with fair choice of food. The staff are very courteous and helful. ... :. I will come back again if possible.......... :)

It has a very good view. It is on top of the mountain.Very cozy and cleaned. We had our stay for 4 days and 3 nights and it turns out very well. They had a free breakfast which is good and very accommodating staff and owner.They are very nice and friendly.

Location is outstanding. Amazing views of the enchanting lake Brienz and the Giessbach Falls and surroundings. Sleep experience is excellent. The Hotel architecture and interior decoration is of such fine artistic taste and luxury, it is a gem. Quite classical and historic as if one is living the high life in the 19th century. Cuisine too was of a high standard with great variety and quality. Excellent restaurant staff attitude and courtesy.

    We were stayed for one day. The view from the window to the waterfall is inspiring, and the manager is a very nice person. The hotel is located in an old wooden house with a history, the room is cozy. The breakfast was delicious, the bed is comfortable, the location is great, the place is quiet. We are very happy that we chose this place.

    Great location! You can see and hear Reichenbach fall from your window. Service was excellent. Dave, the owner, was attentive to our needs and made us feel at home. Hotel and rooms were quaint and cozy. Breakfast was great.
