The Bus Stop is just outside the Hotel, from the train Station Sargans about 15 min. I had my Super at the Hotel restaurant, it was always very good. It is easy to walk around Wangs, or take the Bus. The "Pfarrer Künzli Weg" is interesting from Wangs to Vilters. Also the Castle Sargans is worth hiking up there. It is also very close to some walking route in the mountains where you will have the beautiful view. I regret to spend only 1 night there but went to Lichenstein next day. Staff was friendly, room was clean and price included a reasonable breakfast with enough choice for everyone.
