Tucked away in Chongqing, this B&B is a real treasure, especially for its amazing night view. From the balcony or windows, you can see the rivers shimmering under the bridge lights, and skyscrapers standing tall with colorful glows. The interior is tastefully decorated and comfortable. Smack in the centre of Chongqing and a 10 minute walk to the metro. The hotel was exceptional. Big and spacious room, very clean and comfortable bedding and shower. A short walk to the city centre and the gastronomic delights of Chongqing. Really good value for money.

I’m not usually the kind of person who writes reviews, but this time I felt I had to — and this one comes straight from the heart. First of all, the hotel has a perfect location and offers a great balance between price and quality. The rooms are clean, cozy, and well-designed — ideal if you’re traveling with friends but still want some privacy, thanks to the two separate floors in the room layout. But the true gem of this hotel is the staff — especially the owner. She was incredibly kind and welcoming. We honestly felt like we were visiting a distant aunt who was there for us no matter what. A genuinely warm-hearted person, always ready to help with directions, solve any issue, and make sure you feel at home in the city. Yes, it’s listed as a 2-star hotel — probably because it’s small — but I would add two more stars just for the hospitality and care alone. The breakfast was also authentic and really enjoyable! We stayed in several 5-star hotels during our trip around southern China, including Chongqing and Chengdu — and while those were nice, if you’re looking for an authentic, family-style experience full of warmth and human connection, this is the place to go. From the thoughtful recommendations to the personal attention — everything was simply perfect.
