The terracotta warriors have been on my bucket list for years- the scale of the site and precision of the figures did not disappoint! It was an emotional moment. What i was not prepared for was what else the city has to offer - the extensive history, the artwork, the culture…..then there is the food! Cycling on the city wall was great, even in the rain. Unfortunately, the Muslim Quarter and Terracotta Soldiers were so crowded it was hard to really enjoy them. We were there for a wedding and just touring. Xi'an was fantastic. I needed to buy a dress for the wedding and my daughter-in-law and her mom took me to an outstanding mall - SAGA. It was so much fun. I was treated like royalty. There is so much to see and do We went to a park that had lotus blooming and you could rent boats and take them around the lake. Of course, we visited Goose Tower, Bell Tower and Drum Tower, Shaanxi History Museum, the Terracotta Warriors and Huashan Mountain. We also saw the City Wall in the evening and it was spectacular. The food of Xi'an is so fresh and delicious. The people are so kind and helpful. The subway is spotless and so inexpensive. DiDis are plentiful as well.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Loved the Terra Cotta Warriors and how easy it was to sign up with good tour from hotel! Also enjoyed the Wild Goose Temple, the City Wall, parks, but found Muslim Quarter a bit too touristy with junky shops.Guest review byAnonymous
