    This place is literally infested with mosquitos - repellent...

    This place is literally infested with mosquitos - repellent and other solutions are not an option. Be prepared for lot of mozzie bites regardless of your precautions. Best idea is not to go outside between 4pm-7pm. Wear long pants whenever you go out. Best (and really only) places to stay are Colsubsidio and Compensar. The rest have few facitlities and little value for money. Especially not rated: GHL Relax hotel - awful!

    Friendly staff that really go out of their way to see that guests are happy. The simpler rooms are quite basic. There is secure parking nearby for hotel visitors. Try to have a room away from the street in case the street noise is bothersome. Very good value for money.

    A historic building surrounded by beautiful old trees and vegetation that ameliorates the harsh hot weather of the area. Hotel employees were always keen on helping us. Diego, from the night front desk was proffessional and kind.
