There were people from all parts of the world in one little town. It is worth exploring the surrounding areas, because the actual town of Montezuma is rather small. There are different dining and lodging options for all tastes and budgets. Some great restaurants! We especially enjoyed Playa de Los Artistas, Soda La Naranja, and Cocolores. We also enjoyed morning yoga at Ylang Ylang, the accessibility of the beach, and the walkability of the town and local waterfalls. Montezuma is a quiet beach town, has enough places to eat, a grocery store, but is not a party place. Our house was up the heal, between the trees with lots of birds and animals around. In the evenings we would sit outside, but keep the windows and doors closed, that nothing could go in. We had airconditioning, but we just used it to cool off the place, then it stayed cool for the night. Lots of beaches to choose from and lots of waterfalls to visit.Guest review bySaroltaCanada - 2.0

Everything is taken care of! The beds are amazing!! The best beds we had in whole Costa Rica. The location is a 10 minute (bumpy) ride from the city, but nothing more difficult than other roads in Costa Rica. It’s part of the deal. Make sure you have a car if you stay here.
