We found it by chance in a map search and only when we arrived did we realize what a gem it was. The location is excellent, 10 minutes from Poaz, a tipical and delicious breakfast. We stayed in one of their amazing tents and had a great time. The entire area is charmingly decorated, and the rooms are very pampering. highly recommend

The staff at this place is truly amazing. I haven't seen this level of service anywhere in Costa Rica. They truly care about you and want to make your stay as special as possible. Food is also incredibly amazing. And I'm a picky eater but the cooking is unbelievable Green area is very beautiful and very well maintained. Very quiet.

the place and the property are amazing, so far the best stay in Costa Rica. hotels do not meet world wide standards here but this property was great! I highly recommend it. Visit the poas volcano and the Starbucks finca from here

    We stayed at the Altura Hotel. It was amazing beyond words! Can not say enough about this place. We stayed in a 'dome/yurt' and it was beautiful, well appointed and excellent in every sense of the word. Breakfast was included and it was such a treat!

    This was a beautiful property.

    This was a beautiful property. We enjoyed the foliage and flowers and all the little sitting areas. The room was very comfortable and had all of the amenities we required. The only thing that could be improved upon is to have a breakfast selection. It was the same thing every morning.

    The room is not fancy but very clean. we had a Mountain View room and it was super clean and cute. It had everything we needed. The location is perfect and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful with everything. The restaurant on site is pretty good and we’ll visited by tourists and locals alike. Very good value hotel in Poas.

    The hotel is located 7 minutes from the entrance to the nature reserve (Nacional Volcán Poás) so when we landed in San Jose we drove straight to it from the airport. The place is very quiet and the room was very nicely decorated! Unfortunately we stayed at this hotel only one night.

    The hotel room was spacious, and there was a heater available. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was good, and the staff was very nice and attentive. I guess the location must be wonderful with good weather conditions.

    I really glad about staying in La Paz Hotel. Extremely clean, everything what we needed, if it is cold in the night there is heater working very well. If we will be close to Vulcano Poas we stay for sure once more
