The place was just 5 mins driving distance to the volcán Tenorio NP. Unfortunately, we couldn’t not see wild Tapir while we were staying, but the view from the balcony was great!

The place is amazingly beautiful and magical. The garden, the pool, the room. The facilities are very good. Breakfast was delicious. The hosts are so nice, helped in anything we just asked for, plus they are also very knowledgeable about wild animals in the area. A great recommendation for families. Truly a unique place.

The staff were really accommodating and friendly, the breakfasts were huge and delicious. Gorgeous rooms and had the most amazing toucan experience just sat out on the terrace.

This is a wonderful and serene place to unwind. Our host and his family made us feel like we were their neighbours. I loved the unique style, location and the amount of care and consideration that went into the details of this place. Owner and staff are attentive. Morning walk of the cacao plantation is very informative and educational. Very recommended to take the chocolate course (trainer's English not always clear, but we manage to make 1/2 kg chocolate per person to bring back home). Recommended to stay 2 nights, and walk around the property (there is a 2 hours walk in the plantation and forest where you can spot beautiful flora and fauna). Love the free chocolate drink at check-in. Fire place for night star watching is just priceless.

Rincón Verde was possibly one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed in. The gardens that surround the cabins are beautiful and full of birds. Everyday you are woken by the song of dozens of birds and you fall asleep to the calls of the frogs. It’s a little bit of paradise. The hosts, Victor and Lizabet are wonderfully welcoming and the breakfasts are delicious. The cabins are quiet, comfortable and spotlessly clean.
