My stay in Uvita was wonderful because it was October and very quiet. I was lucky to have no rain most days and explored all around the area. I loved playa Hermosa and Bahia Ballena. Whale watching was amazing, however it feels a little intrusive. We were assured that the boats are only allowed to go out certain times in the day and not at all at certain times of the year. The pool area is beautiful with lots of plants surrounding it. Our downstairs room had a little outside sitting area surrounded by palms for privacy. There are 2 nice dogs which would give us company. It was a very relaxing stay. There are a couple of restaurants close by but it's easier to drive to the main road or the beach side of Uvita.
