    A gorgeous town in the mountains.

    A gorgeous town in the mountains. Having stayed previously in different towns in Krkonose like Smrzovka, and Spindleruv Mlyn I can definitely say I prefer Harrachov. It's a great size, with nice restaurants and hotels, but remote enough for you to feel you are escaping the hustle and bustle of the cities and towns. The nature around is beautiful, and the waterfalls, mountains and forests that engulf the town are perfect for leisurely walks and exploration.

    Go to Mumlava vodopad if you like to swim and watch...

    Go to Mumlava vodopad if you like to swim and watch waterfalls. Go to Kamenicky vodopad if you like mountain hiking and quite places. Try the glass and beer factory. Try the "honey roasted duck" at Teressa.

    Well located hotel, 5 minutes walk from the Mumlava waterfall trail and other trails. Also 5-10 minutes walk from Harrachov town center, restaurants, café and other shops. The host was very welcoming and explained everything about the room, town center and the trails around. If you plan to take the trails, park at the hotel instead of paying for the public parking at the entrance of town which costs 250czk or so. The hotel has a shared kitchen with a fridge so it is possible to store your fruits and vegetables.

    The hotel is situated at a perfect location in Harrachov - good point for starting of any trip to the Krkonošw mountains. It is right at the top of a small piste, so ideal for winter too. Rooms are big enough and clean. Breakfast and dinner were tasty with good choice. Small swimming pool available.

    Beautiful dining hall and spa center with view on mountains. Very helpful staff (we really appreciated this). Small hotel, welcome drinks and snacks, interesting idea with deposit (you don't need to have money with you to pay for things). Playroom near the dining room also is a great idea.
