They upgraded me my room was amazing it was the best room i stayed in in my 12 day stay in germany the host reception man was supper even went with me to checkout the bus schedule 15 minute walk to the castle

The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was a kettle provided that is unusual in German accommodation, also the breakfast was delicious. If you are riding along the Moselle there is a bus you can catch up the hill to the accommodation that will take your bike along. It stops right in front of the hotel. It was so appreciated. It had a gorgeous outlook and the owner was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The ride back down to the river was very scenic.

Everything! The hotel is amazingly beautiful in the old germany style and the employees were super kind and warm. The breakfast was GREAT! They separate a table for you and bring you coffee and milk as you wish. The breakfast things are fresh and very tasty, we loved it.

    Alken is a lovely quiet village next to the River Mosel. Boat trips leave from the centre of the village. There is a good bus service with two stops in the village. There is a petrol station2 km away and a supermarket on the edge of the village.

    Absolutely everything. The location next to the River Mosel was excellent with car parking available next to the hotel. The apartment was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delivered to the apartment each morning. The owners Philip and Corina were extremely friendly as were their staff. Boat trips to Cochem and Koblenz etc. were available from nearby. There was also a good bus service with a bus stop very close to the hotel.

    Superb location. Even though our room didn’t overlook the Mosel, from the back of the hotel we had a great view of Berg Thurant. Michael the receptionist was outstandingly friendly and helpful, a credit to the hotel. We hope he visits us in Wales.

    Great, accessible location at the edge of Alken not too far from the Thurant castle. You can hear the calming noise of the stream from the room. Comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, equipped kitchen.
