This hotel has very good working air conditioning, which is hard to find in Kiel. Nothing was exceptional, but nothing was terrible. The beds were comfortable enough and the room was clean enough for my liking. This hotel does not have a ton of frills, but the location and A/C make it worth booking. I paid more than I would have liked because it was near Kiel Week and a conference, but I would imagine most days this hotel is worth the going rate.

The check in staff were phenomenal! So kind and helpful! We were spending a night prior to our MSC cruise. The MSC shuttle bus pick up is across the street, right outside the Rodizio restaurant. We left our luggage at the hotel, went shopping, then showed up to the MSC shuttle an hour before our boarding time and it was easy! The location cannot be beat. The hotel is also across from the train station, you see it right as you walk out. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot!

Thank you Bruno for a wonderful welcome! And thank you Benjamin for a wonderful send-off! I greatly appreciated the kindness of the conscientious staff, their efforts to ensure an excellent stay, and ease while traveling with my bicycle. The room was simple, but clean, spacious, comfortable, and peaceful. I appreciated the large windows and being able to open them fully or not, and the different lamps which offered a welcome choice for reading and relaxing. Location is extremely convenient! A great choice!
