It's a lovely small city with many historic buildings, a thermal bath https://solymar-therme.de/ and several good restaurants. It's easy to walk around in the city centre because there is a car free zone and speed restrictions. The Greek restaurant Zunftstuben Poseidon is very good value for money https://poseidon-mgh.de/ plus all the local bakeries and cafes offer great food. It's a good base to explore the area by car, bike or train. The local wildlife park is interesting for adults as well as children and provides many play activities https://www.wildtierpark.de/. Our room was perfect for three people - large and comfortable: it was really warm at night as no AC but we were there in a heatwave. Parking for around 10 cars and plenty of roadside parking.
