Bad food and really bad service from the Reception and in the restaurant. Reception would not share information on relevant activities in the area, e.g. outdoor public swimbad 1 km from the hotel. Staff were so friendly. The food in the restaurant was brilliant - local dishes, beautifully cooked, with excellent local wines at very reasonable prices. There were clearly many locals in the restaurant - always a good sign. The staff were so attentive and looked after us brilliantly (French and German spoken). The location is excellent — within walking distance (about 6 minutes) to Breisach am Bahnhof, and close to several supermarkets, which made it very convenient. It was also a great base for visiting Europa Park, which is just a short drive away. The apartment was clean, quiet, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We arrived late and still were very welcome.
