Family vacation house on the Mosel 3 generations of one family (and a dog) – spent here 2 nights in May, 2024. This house is a very good place for family vacation: 3 bedrooms, a kitchen with a dinner table, a living room and 2 good bathrooms. Pet-friendly – this is fortunately typical for Germany. Distances: ~ 100m from Mosel. ~ 1.3 km to Edeka supermarket, ~ 7 km to Cochem center. There are also 2 minor “cons”: no dishwash machine and no Mosel view. Friendly host. The location was ideal for exploring the area's beautiful attractions and landmarks, with Cochem town and various tourist spots all within an hour's drive. The house itself was immaculate, with clean and tidy interiors that made us feel right at home. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Bruttig-Fankel is a lovely little town on the Mosel.
Bruttig-Fankel is a lovely little town on the Mosel. Many Weinguts to visit, and good choices for food. Very quiet in the evening, with hardly any traffic.
