Close to the airport but it's quiet area. Suitable for a short transit not for few days stay. The room itself is different from the picture & the fridge is broken cannot be used (without the door) but they still keep it in the room for no reason. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel has a very nice ambience, and the breakfast was fantastic! Especially the seating right next to the canal. Also really lively beergarten right next door. And our trip to the airport by car the next morning was really nice... just a 2-lane scenic highway the entire distance... maybe 25 minutes at most. Ismaning is a perfect spot to stay, away from the city, but with really easy train links to Munich and the airport. The apartment was comfortable and spotlessly clean and had a nice little south facing balcony for breakfast on sunny mornings.
