This is a very good base for exploring the region, especially with the free bus and rail pass. The buses are regular and punctual, and connect with the main railway line at the next village up, Denzlingen. The village itself is really beautiful and, although there are lots of hotels, has kept its character. I recommend visiting the local wine cooperative. The local red wine in particular is quite unlike the generic stuff we are usually offered in the UK and well worth trying and bringing some home.Guest review byRichardUnited Kingdom - 10

(Every week) Our family room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The view on the river made us relax. What I liked most was the staff. A super friendly team, passionate about what they do. The service was beyond! When we left the hotel we forgot the duvet and sheets of our baby daughter. They washed it and then sent it to our home address in Holland.
