Lovely couple, and a very clean and tidy house. The apartment is exceptional, even though we didnt use the kitchen or lounge, everything was there if we needed it. We only spoke english, and the hosts only spoke German, but this was no problem at all, and they made a real effort to communicate with translator. Loved it.

The location was ideal for us en-route back to Rotterdam coming from Italy. We loved the lakeside setting and the brilliant children's play park behind was an added bonus for us! The staff were very welcoming and helpful, the family room we had was a great size, clean and well presented. We also enjoyed the breakfast and thought our stay was very good value. We will try to book again for our next European road trip!

The rooms were exceptionally comfortable and had everything we needed. The room was also far bigger than expected for the price we paid, we both really liked this place. Very good value for money. In fact, we liked it so much that we booked here again on our return journey.

    A good base for exploring the local "volcano" area. Trier and the Mosel valley are within reach. The town itself had plenty of eating options as well as a large wine shop and an Aldi & Lidl.

    Small friendly and warm family hotel, original decoration, the guests are art lovers and this can be felt in the establishment and the rooms. The room is spacious and quiet. A chair to work on the desk would be nice. Simple but adequate breakfast. Wi-Fi a little slow. pleasant stay.

    The apartment is absolutely spotless and the bed is super comfy. It is around half an hour from the Nürburgring and Mendig has everything you could need.
