This is an excellent 3 star hotel - it does what it says! Great location being so close to the A8 - we have stayed several times on our way to ski in Austria. Excellent & popular restaurant and good breakfast. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly and speak more than enough English.

The staff is so friendly and welcoming. It appears to be a family hotel and they really take care of everything to make it pleasant place. The breakfast was excelent. We got scrumbled eggs, a good choise of ham and cheese, fruit salads, all kinds of drinks. Really exceeding expectations! We wanna come back, even considering travelling specially for.

    I booked 2 king rooms. This is advertised as a double, single and settee bed. Unfortunately as we only had 2 per room there was only a double bed made up. Booking com and the hotel need to be clear about this arrangement. The hotel had 2 twins available to fix the problem. We got some food and beer as a refund.

    The apartment was very well located for our visit to a friend's wedding at the local church. It took about 12 minutes to walk to the local Netto. We were made very welcome and had a good meal at Guesthaus Sonne. A local bus serves the train station on the outskirts of Merklingen.
