Pirna is an ideal base if you want to explore Saxon Switzerland. The Old Town is compact but very lovely. It has very tranquil ambiance, which suits travelers seeking a peaceful getaway. For the people to love old architecture, Pirna is a gem as it is completely unspoiled with modern concrete monsters. There are many great restaurants and cafes within the Old Town, though most close quite early. From Pirna, it only takes within less than 1 hour to get to Bastei, Bad Schandau or other smaller towns.Guest review byAnFinland

I had this amazing room that overlooked the market with so much light. It was quiet, even if it overlooked the market. The shower was perfect both in speed and hotness of water. The room was clean. I would have appreciated a better quality wifi, but it is what it is. The breakfast was ok, i loved that i could have it outside. I would have appreciated some fresh vegetables and some fruit. Within 400 mtrs from the apartment, there are bus stations which can take you to other parts of Sachsen-Swiss. Apartment has everything which is needed for a short- and long-term stay.
