The hotel was kind enough to give me a room with a canal view, even though I hadn’t booked one of the higher-end options, which I really appreciated. The location was great - within walking distance of the train station, supermarkets, and some good restaurants. Breakfast had a nice variety, and everything was fresh. I also liked that the hotel makes an effort to be more sustainable and encourages guests to do the same. It’s a small thing, but it stood out in a good way.

    Absolutely beautiful and tranquil countryside.

    Absolutely beautiful and tranquil countryside. Beautiful towns like Lingen, Osnabruck , Oldenburg and Groningen are within an hour driving distance. Locals are so friendly and helpful. Very positive atmosphere all around. An absolutely ideal place for a peaceful family get away. We really enjoyed the stay.

    The house (hotel) is in the centre of the small town (village) Rhede, but near the main roads. The hotel is quite big, has a lot of rooms and a big restaurant, however, people in the restaurant do not disturb other guests in the hotel. A room with a small kitchen is good to spend a night for 3 people. The room is very tidy and comfortable.
