Good restaurant and excellent breakfast with fresh German bread roles, eggs, hams, cheeses, etc. This is a small family run hotel and the owners are very welcoming, friendly and accommodating! This place does not offer the top notch of luxury rooms but rather a genuine and authentic experience. The family apartment is spacious and beds are comfortable. If you don’t mind basic room standards, but prefer a warm and personal atmosphere, you are right here.

The property is impeccable from all standpoints. Every house and apartment have privacy and an unique design. We were offered an upgrade and stayed in the house with a terrace - this was superb. The kitchen was incredibly clean and well equipped, bathrooms were large and newly renovated, the beds were comfortable and most importantly, the views from the terrace and the attic bedroom were stunning. Nora, our host, was welcoming and she even offered to drive us to the start of our hike in one of the days. The property is right on the river and you can spend afternoons barbecuing and chilling on the waterside.

Quiet location in the Mosel valley. Very nice and clean room with a balcony. Excellent breakfast. Reliable and fast WiFi (blocking the port ssh-22, but VPN worked well). Private parking available (parking spaces not marked and not intuitive, but it worked well).

Excellent location between all the beautiful villages and whineyards of the mosel valley. For us, it was a perfect spot for day trips to visit different castles and do hiking. The Gästehaus is large with a spacious terrace for cozy evening dinners and breakfasts. A pleasant surprise for us, was the great selection of wines available at the gästhaus, all made by the owner. I can highly recommend the fruity delicious halbtrocken Riesling white wines. The owners were very helpful and helped us with everything we needed to know about the mosel valley.

The hotel is beautiful in a very nice location for relaxing trip in the Mosel. Since we had the private sauna suite, I’m a bit biased when saying that it was amazing. As someone who grew up with Finnish sauna, I must say the one we had in our room was superb. In addition, the bubble bath was amazing. The restaurant food was very good as well.

Wonderful place! We will definitely come back more than once. A large, beautifully and practically furnished room. Great view from the balcony to the ruins of the Metternich Castle. 3 minutes walk to the banks of the Moselle. Absolutely exceptional breakfast. 2 saunas, a sun room and a huge roof terrace. Helpful and hospitable staff - they know the answers to all your questions :). Convenient parking.
