Nice hotel with very nice property around. Hiking trails start as soon as you walk out of the door. There's a little playground for the little ones. The rooms were nice sized, clean, and even had a balcony. Personnel was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Menus and all information came in English, too. It's very quiet yet you are within minutes near shopping & Restaurants. Breakfast & dinner Buffet were delicious. They even have vegan or Lactose free meal options upon request.

The room was stunning, with elegant decor and plenty of natural light. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep.     The museum in the Upper Castle is the best thing to visit in Siegen, which explains the history of the royalty who lived there, especially the Nassau / Oranje family whose descendants are still on the Dutch throne. Also good detail of the iron ore mining and iron/steel manufacture locally. We didn't find much else in Siegen to tempt us, but were glad to go out to Freudenberg to see the large number of attractive timbered houses.

    When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist remembered us straight away from a previous visit several months ago. The hotel was close to the motorway, the room was comfortable, the adjoining restaurant was good in quality and quantity. The breakfast the following morning was varied and substantial. We will be staying there again and would highly recommend it to other travellers.

    Hotel selected because it was on our route. With no great expectations we were delighted with our choice. Quiet, peaceful and comfortable, friendly and helpful staff, lovely setting with walking trails at the back door, superb breakfast and excellent value.
