Could not have been happier with everything. Recently renovated, with nicely appointed rooms, perfect bathrooms, fabulous breakfast and nice staff. So clean and modern with obvious attempts at sustainability - our family loved our short stay at Green Spirit. The beds were the most comfortable I’ve stayed in at a hotel for a long time and the enclosed courtyard was lovely and peaceful this morning before a busy day of travel. Definitely would recommend!

PHOTO: To the left, with the cars is the obvious right way. WE DROVE DOWN THE ONE CLOSER TO THE RED CAR!! 😂👍 ARRIVAL ADVENTURE: We abandoned our car a few alleys away because we were trapped. Somehow we managed to drive our SUV rental down a lane that was surely meant for 2 bicycles to take turns leading the way. The kind owner, who had already stayed late to check us in, said she had been trying to reach us to warn us of the Google Map vehicle mouse trap! Too distracted, we had missed them and had only booked an hour earlier. She showed us our room, grabbed the hotel keys and said, “Let’s go. I will help you’. Back down the narrow lanes, in the dark and the cold, she looked over the car. Went to front to measure by taking large steps and counting. ‘Yes’, she said ‘I think you can make it’. My husband and I looked at each other and said okay then…. Going back would be equally as difficult. And then 2 women brilliantly directed an already frazzled man to victory with a half inch to spare on both sides!! We parked our vehicle in the back hotel courtyard. It was then we realized that the PARKING REALLY WAS SO SIMPLE!!! Easy in and easy out, if you go the right way!! Ah, the adventure of it all…. What a wonderful woman the owner is. The hotel itself was everything promised and then some. Complimentary water and coffee in the room. Breakfast included until 11:30am!!! In the most beautiful area in the heart of it all. A TREASURE!

Very cosy and nicely decorated room. Bed was comfortable, room spacious. Breadfast was basic, but was very convenient to have some food in the morning. There is no reception, but the instructions on how to get to the hotel were very clear. The hotel is 10min walk from the center.
