Triberg is a very odd place.
Triberg is a very odd place. Once you've seen a few cuckoo clocks, they really aren't that interesting. Who is buying them?! Very nice town with nice cockoo clocks, especially the 3 Bears, and well located to see Black Forest's attractions. Unfortunately the shops open late in the morning and close very early in the evening, so not too much to see in the evening. Triberg is nice small town can easily reach attractions of black forest from here. Room was clean and small but had everything I needed, also appreciated the forest themed curtain which I thought was a neat touch. Bed was comfortable too. Wifi worked well. They give you a tourist ticket on check in which I used for Triberger Wasserfälle and Schwarzwaldmuseum (really enjoyed visiting both) The hotel is also convenient to supermarket and bus stops. She provided us a pass valid in all forms of public transport as well as the museum. The property is very close to Triberg waterfall and in the marketplace with beautiful views of the black forest from the balcony. The hotel is reachable from Triberg station by bus (number 550).
