    San Cristobal offers so much to do.

    San Cristobal offers so much to do. Some of our favourite places were snorkelling at Kicker Rock, hiking up to Frigatebird Hill, watching the sunset at Playa Mann, snorkelling and Punta Carole and Playa Baquerizo. The interpretation centre is super informative and a really nice play to have a walk around. The whole island is abundant with sea lions which is a fun alternative to people watching. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars along the main strip which vary in terms of price range. It was super easy to get around San Cristobal. Some our favourite spots to eat were: Cri's Burgers, Sea Garden, The Pier, Seafood Casa, El Descanso Marinero.

    San Cristóbal is a great island for holidays, many opportunities for snorkeling or diving tours :) We did the 360° Tour, which I can recommend if you´re not sea sick. We saw awesome beaches and many, many amazing animals :)

    We stayed in Hostal San Francisco as we had one night in San Cristobal before heading home. This property met our expectations and was great value for money. Check in was very easy and the staff were very nice. It's got a great sea view as it's located right on the main strip of San Cristobal. Shower was nice and warm and the bed was comfy.

    Bit far out but not a long walk! Room was basic but relatively clean. Leaking water problem on the floor which was dangerous!! The hotel did organise an amazing tour for us! They also picked us up from the port for free which was a fantastic gesture! Staff were generally so helpful and lovely. Atmosphere was quiet!

    If you want an authentic experience and a change to your usual hotel room, I can recommend Flor's place to you: Flor and her family are there to help you, share mangos, traditional food, help with your laundry, getting up early to prepare a tea for you before sunrise before your morning ferry.

    Amazing host!!! Helped us so much during the stay. They made us so relaxed and we got to have a very enjoyable stay in San Cristobal. The garden is nice and the house is cute with lots of space. A small kitchen to make yourself coffee and a fridge. Rural area.

    The location was great. San Cristobal is a small community in the Galapagos and we had two days before setting out on a cruise among islands for five days. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable.
