Everything was great! It was a very hot day and we were a bit worried that the tent is too hot to sleep in but by night time the tent got nice and cool and we had the best sleep. Also skinny dipping in the lake is a special privilege there.

What isn't to like? Great location, cheerful staff (who speak English if needed), amazing pool/saun area that our group aged 2 to 70+ enjoyed. Breakfast was also a large buffet that was delicious. Bonus for the kids play area in the restaurant so we could actually eat!

The hotel qualifies for its superior four-star rating. The personnel is polite and helpful. The ambiance is gorgeous, and there is a luxurious scent in the rooms and halls. The restaurant is marked in the Michelin guide and attracts with its high-quality service and cuisine. The location is exceptional - in the very heart of Tartu's Old Town yet, in the quiet corner of it. Breakfast was wonderful and the waiters were helpful there as well (I would only recommend using less salt in an omelet and no salt & sugar in the porridge). The spa is small & cozy with a luxurious atmosphere inside. Overall, Lydia Hotel provided us with a wonderful stay caring about us at every step.

Very comfortable, charming hotel. The location is perfect for a visit to Tartu. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The dining room offered fine dining and we enjoyed two excellent meals there during our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel to visitors to Tartu

As a traveler in a foreign country where I do not speak the language this is especially valued.
