This beautiful guesthouse hosted by the most wonderful lady has an incredible view of the Nile. The facilities are clean and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and she was kind enough to make us a superb dinner too as we were too tired from our travels to go out. The lovely host is responsive and happy to organise cheap transport for you to go wherever you need in Aswan. It might seem out of the way but the location is perfect for all the sights. I would 100% return here to enjoy the beautiful view, the delicious home cooked food, and the company of the wonderful hostess.

Nubiano Cataract is a great authentic hotel in Nubian Style. I loved the colorful walls and the room was charming with a beautiful view over the Nile River. The breakfast was very tasty and the staff was very friendly and correct. I slept like a baby at night. I felt at home and happy. The location is close to Philae Island, it was perfect for me!

I had pleasure to staying at this hidden gem, it was like stepping into another world - one where time slows down, nature surrounds you. The island has its own farm, where people are welcome to pick fresh fruits and veggies- a true gift from the Nile. These vibrant ingredients become part of the meals we enjoyed. There are small boats and kayak available for guests to use, offering a sense of freedom and adventure. Recommend paddling to Seheil island with authentic Nubian village and fantastic view of Nile. Sherif and his team was incredibly thoughtful and generous. He not only coordinated activities on and around the island, but also create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that brought all the guests together. Beautiful location overlooking a Philae Temple. Modern, spacious, gorgeous Nubian touches. We were in the King select room which was fabulous. Wonderful staff, lovely food. Very helpful with transfers and tours. Spa was fabulous. Would definitely stay again and for much longer if we are able.

Opal was one, if not the, best hotels we used. amazing location, directly on the shore of the Nile, with a lovely restaurant Terrance on its shore. the hotel itself is on a very attractive tourist friendly strip on Aswan. Super clean and very well kept, while maintaining its Nubian character. very comfortable. The staff are absolutely amazing, and I can sincerely call them friends after the very pleasant and generous hospitality they shown us. They went way above duty to keep us comfortable happy. Very helpful. I honestly can not commend highly enough. I rarely go online to rate places, but I felt obliged for Opal Hotel family. Keep up the good work guys.
